So here it is, finally... SUMMER !! :D
So far, I've toured
I also have other goals for the summer. Some include reading a bunch of books (including my summer readings, and NOT having to rush through them like the last couple years!), seeing movies I wouldn't have time to see during school time, satisfy my obcessions for a while so they don't overflow into school time in august, and... oh, yeah, completely reinvent myself!
Isn't it everyone's dream to have a total summer make over and come back in the fall a new person. For some people it may be losing a few extra pounds, or finding the voice that leads your persona. Maybe you'd like to take up a new hobbie, or perfect one you already have. But what if you want all that?

I don't think I have enought summer. :S :(

I'm so bad at this! Sorry for not posting in like forever!!
BUT, the good news is that I'm FREE from school !! :D
... at least until August.
Anyway, I'm going to use the summer to learn to stick to LJ and stop not posting for long period of time (say... 31 weeks??) :S (sorry again!)
So, I'm currently in the process of cleaning my room and I've foudn soo many things! Diaries dating back to 2002, letters from my pen pal since 2005, dust, photos from long ago, old scrapbook, dust, books I have yet to read, dust, old key chains, and, oh! did I mentio dust? Yeah, that was so clique, but it fit so well into the sentence :)
I also rearrange furniture which is a nice change. I'm also hoping to paint my walls and bring in a new color scheme.
But I won't do that until I get back from Europe. I leave this Sunday for 17 days. I'm going to be on a cruise along the Mediterranian.
.... I guess that doesn't really help the whole 'stick with LJ and stop not posting for long periods of time.'

Hey there!! Didn't miss me, did you?? It's only been 5 weeks, don't worry!
Yeah, I know it's bad... but in my head it's fine! :) Hahaha
So... by now you might be wondering what the heck my subject for this entry means. Well, this Frady, Season 8 of this show I just found out about called Degrassi starts. I am literally crazy for it! It's insane! Let me give you the full story... At my house, we got more channel cuz we changed cable companies or whatever so we got a channel that has Degrassi on it. The channel was always like "Are you ready?" (that's the Degrassi tag line) and I had always brushed off Degrassi, until I saw one of the sneak peeks! Well, two! One where Claire, I think that's her name, meets KC, I thnk that's his name, and he says "Hey, I'm lost can you help me?" and Claire is thinking "Oh great, another dumb skater boy..." and then she sees his advanced biology book. I though this was the coooolest thing ever!!! Maybe it's the hopeless romantic in me or the geeky nerd girl in me that wants yo date KC (cuz in another preview it's implied that they get to know each other better and I'm hoping for dating! :) )... I don't know. All I know is that I loved that. I also thought the one where Ali and Claire find something under their teacher's bed to be histerical !!! I was like 'Oh shnaps!' (yes, shnaps!)
So, to summarize, I could tell that this show was going to be frikin awesome so i started reseaching it on the internet to see what it's deal was. I also started watching some episodes online and loved it! I'm up to season 3 now, which kinda sucks cuz season 8 is starting in like 2 days and I can't watch 5 seasons in two days with school and homework in the way. Whatever, I'll probably watch the premier and eventually catch up...
Another thing that's got me hung up on Degrassi is that on the channel their showing it on, it's currently on a marathon of all Degrassi episodes so it's way more ahead of me and sometimes I watch an episode which get's me pumped to see how the characters got there! For example, today on tv I saw an episode called 'Foolin'' which is easily on my top 10 (remember I've only seen until season 3! haha). That episode was from season 6 I think and it's about Liberty telling JT that she's pregnant!! I could not believe it! I mean, seriously! I had always known she and JT where perfect for each other, but now it's actually real !! Worst part is that in the end they break up. But even after that, I'm still pumped! Wanna know whyy?? For an episode I read about 'Rock this town.' It's the highest rated show so i read the summary out of curiosity and accidentaly found out the JT DIES!!! OMG! I cannot belive that!! i was completely shock! you could have not believed my surprise! And since when did Craig go to rehab??
Oh, boy! I just realized that people who have watched the entire series and are currently reading this are probably like 'yeah, i knew that...' hahahaha
But whatever... i'm allowed to be excited. Anyways, I'll let you know when I've caught up with the TV hahaha

Well, Summer went by without a hitch! I went to camp with one of my best friends and continued many friendships I had from last summer. It was wayy fun! The my family summer came and i spent time with cousins and with my grandma and with other cousins. i love my family. They're all amazing. Thi summer has been so much fun.
Then, two weeks ago, school started...
It's been good, actually. I'm very happy with everything. Teachers are cool, I'm not drowned in homework yet, friends are fun, life is happy, and everything is falling into place.
I don't have anything interesting to say cuz I'm just catching up with what i've done these last 15 weeks of my life. But i hope I do get to write some more on my journal.

My party went on amazingly!! It was totally and utterly perfect! The people began to show up a like 7 - 7:45 (yeah, people like us are late all the time)! We began to mingle and I worked the crown and had so much fun with everyone! Then at like 8 we sat down to eat at the teppanyaki (sp?). We ordered our food and the sushi came. I finally got to try my first sushi !! I tried a California Roll and I absolutely LOVED it!!! I can't wait to eat it again!!! And to think sushi used to repulse me... sashimi still does a bit, but not as much (yes, some people ordered sashimi! haha). So then the chefs came and put on a show! It was soo much fun!! The chef gave like 4 of us eggs to crack at the tepanyaki so we got to pretend being cheft and it was amazingly fun !! :D
So the food was done, we ate, talked, laugh, acted like idiots, everything. After the food, we took pictures and talked and laughed. Then we crossed the street to Haagendas (sp??) to eat ice cream!! Wow!! That was deliciouss!!! So we laughed and talked and took more pictures. People started to leave until everone had left and I went home. It was absolutely the best night in a loong time!! Top 20 nights of my life, probably! (I hope to have many more top nights in my life haha)
Anyways, then I went home and opened my presents. My friends have great taste!! :D lol....
So, best night, good food, awesome people, first piece of sushi in my mouth, delicious ice cream, totally rockin' birthday!! I <3 it so much it actually deserved a "<3" !!! lol... :D

Yeah, you can tell I lost the election just from the title. It was so stupid! I was mad for like 2 hours and semi-mad for the rest of the day. That sucked... I've never won an election.... Last year I ran for president of this club I'm in and literally no one voted for me. Well, whatever. If they don't want me to help them run my class then it's their loss. but I'm running next year, either way.... And during this year I'm going to show how much I can help the class. Anyways, elections are just stupid popularity contests. And that's what makes me soo mad!! People should vote for people who can do the job well and excell in it, not just idiotic people who make jokes and laugh at pervy stuff all day! Yeah.. that sucks...
Well, thanks for letting me rant... That's better... Now on to the good stuff! Many people have told me they are coming to my party tomorrow!!! I soooo can't waitt!! YESSS!!! :D

On a third note, have any of you ever had so much fun in one place that you never wanna leave?! That was me two weeks ago, in Maricao. We had a convivencia and it was just sooo much fun! It was like non-stop parties!! And I met people I wouldn't have met normally so it's sll good. That also brought me to this conclusion about boys: I currently do not like anyone, I'm just enjoying the view until one of them makes the first move. And that's what I'm sticking to! : D
And the last note, I have to go now. I have to do homework (remember that school kicking in thing??). Well, yeah.... laterzz!! (wow, that sounded so.. not cool haha)

Ugh, it's so frustrating cuz I don't think I want to like him. I've just started talking to him more than before and I guess I just started liking him. He's really funny and is really nice. He had curly light brown hair. He has the most amazing blue eyes and is kinda cute in a dorky sorta way. : )
I guess the reason why i don't want to like him is cuz my last crush sucked. So maybe I subconsciously think it'll end up like last time.
I hope not.
So I was at a party last night. It was awesome. Half the time I was having fun with my friends and w.e and the other half I was thinking of him and how to talking to him without looking too stalker or anxious to talk to him and stuff, you know??
So I had to balance my time nicely so it wouldn't look like I was obssesed with him since I don't want him to know I like him. I think I did it nicely too... : )
The point is, I guess I have to get used to liking him cuz i can't help it!

I had my first photography class today!
It was so much fun! The teacher explained a whole bunch of stuff and said it was all trial and error so as our first assignment, we had to take pictures around the art school. That was so much fun! I loved it! Then we began to practice the first step in revealing the pictures, twirling the negatives in a wheel-like thing. We started practicing it with an blank roll. After we sort of got it, we went into the dark room to do it pitch black. That was real fun! It was so funny too! Hahaha! I liked being in pitch black.
My teacher is really funny too. And the other people in the class seem like fun girls, so hopefully I'll have a fun time!

My name is Amanda, but as you can see, you can call me Mandy! My native language is spanish but for me, english is like it actually was my native language since I'm completely fluet in it. I guess I could mostly be described as random. I'm a friendly, sort of outspoken, yet shy, girl ! I can be really crazy some times so watch out for blogs while I'm going crazy. My interests include singing, watching movies, writting, listening to music, being with friends, IMing, find out new things, talking on the phone... etc! I'm in my school choir, which is going to Coral Competition in Italy this year, and I love writting fanfics and poems. I guess I just love expressing myself. I also like to draw, and other art, play with my little sister, watch TV, talk to my mom, and, unfortunately, study....
The things you will find in my blog can be anything from a normal, boring entry, to a random and crazy, maybe even stupid, blog. I may feel like just postin the lyrics to a song I can relate lately, post my own lyrics or just pop by to say hi. I could suddenly go all out philosophycal, or just talk about something that happened at school. I might tell you about something I just finished doing, or a new thing I invented.

let's just say she's a crazy moose!!!!!
